Because most of them are actually noobs. They have no idea about the meaning of noob. Or they just think it's a insult.
I can't stand the fact that people say 'new players' or 'new forumers' when they see someone new to OT.
And also, why do we even use noob? It's so old and outdated. Like seriously. We need new words for new things.
