They have these "dress code police" who patrol the hallways and if you see someone with their shorts on above their knees then you report them and they get sent home and have to go back the next day wearing regular clothes.
It's ridiculous.

My high school does have a uniform. And you have no idea how many kids are breaking the rules by wearing their uniform shirts and pants backwards.

You can only wear jeans or skirts (skirts are only allowed if they're short enough, like knee-length)
And you can only wear button-downs, polo shirts, turtlenecks, or hoodies (no sweatshirts).

My high school does have a strict uniform. The worst part is that if someone wears a uniform top without pants or a skirt, they're expelled. If they wear their uniform backwards or inside out, they're expelled.
