You can't be autistic and know you're autistic at the same time, that's like saying "I'm dead but I'm alive at the same time"

The word autistic means different things to different people. For some it just means having a social awkwardness or having unusual interests (or both).

It's very clear what autism is, so unless you want to say that autism is actually a mental disorder where you have an inability to tell whether or not you are autistic, then don't say that autism is not a mental disorder
