I'm 16 years old and my mom just told me I'm not allowed to play video games anymore. She said she doesn't like me being addicted to them, even though I only play when I get home from school and stuff. She said I'll never be able to live on my own if I don't learn to stop playing them. Is there anything I can do?

You could just ignore it. That's what I do. The people who say "but it's illegal" are usually talking about stuff that isn't actually against the law.
