It's not that she doesn't want to watch it, it's that she just doesn't understand the appeal of it.
I mean, I get it. It was a big thing for me when I was young. But she doesn't see what's so great about it.

I think she just needs to be exposed to more episodes.
I mean, I only watched the original series from the beginning when I was four or five, and I started re-watching it a few years ago, and I realized there were some good moments in that series I had missed.
