Apparently the US is going to launch an offensive into the middle east and help the kurds in Iraq

yeah the kurds are cool but i doubt that we're going to do anything about it unless russia gets involved again

The kurds will never be independent.
They've been fighting the turks since the Ottoman Empire.

Oh ok, well if you think its a good thing, I guess there's nothing wrong with that
But, they won't become independent. They'll probably just get the oil and move onto other things in Iraq

I know you're serious
But if the US wants to help them out, they'll probably take a chunk of land for themselves and fight for independence.
But as it stands now, they are helping the kurds get rid of isis. Which is good.
