OP, there are many religious people that do not believe in the Christian god or any other god for that matter. There are also those who are atheist. Those two groups alone make up a good portion of the world. So you asking why people are like this is pointless, because it's just the way they were raised and they chose to remain like this, for whatever reason.

I have no idea how you are so dense, but you must be really stupid.
There are many people who do not believe in any god at all.
For example:
Atheist
Agnostic
And if we are talking about gods specifically:
The Christian god
Any other god, be it made up or existing
The Norse gods
The Greek gods
The Egyptian gods
Etc
So you see, it doesn't matter if there are other gods out there or not, because there are many people who do not believe in ANY god and even if some of them did exist, they'd likely not believe they existed either.
