My mom told me today. I thought she only had one kid but apparently my dad had another son, who is also 20 years old.

Yeah, I don't think my dad knows what's going on half the time. He never says anything smart or interesting. All he does is sit on his ass all day and watch TV. He acts like a child around my mom which is really annoying, but he's still technically the head of this house. My mom is too scared of my dad to even speak out against him.

Also, my parents don't get along at all. They always fight and they're constantly arguing with each other. It gets really annoying. It makes me wonder how the hell they even managed to have 2 kids.

Marriage is hard work. It takes a lot of effort for me to keep my relationship with my girlfriend going. She's probably the only person in my life who actually cares about me. My parents are too busy fighting to even pay attention to what's going on around them.

I wonder how I'm even here though. How did my mom get pregnant? I know she didn't have an abortion, that's for sure. I wish I could ask her these questions, but if I ask her anything she'll just get mad and yell at me. It's better not to ask her anything or else there won't be any peace and quiet.

I guess I don't really have a choice if I want to stay happy and sane throughout my life. I mean, I can either stay with my family forever and let them treat me like dirt, or I can move out and meet new people who will hopefully like me. I'm just hoping that my dad doesn't do anything stupid while I'm gone though. I don't know what I would do if he killed someone or something.
