I went to the doctor yesterday because my foot hurt. He told me it was an ingrown toe nail.
So, I asked "What is an ingrown toe nail?". He said "It's when your toe nail grows into your skin."
I looked at him and said, "Okay, but how do you know if a toe nail is growing into your skin? Are you supposed to feel pain or something?"
He replied, "Well, yes. You're suppose to feel pain."
I responded, "But, what if you don't feel any pain? Is that normal? Or are you supposed to feel some sort of pain? And if so, how much pain are you suppose to feel?"
He answered, "Well, not too much pain. Just enough for you to notice."
So, then I asked, "Wait. How do you know that you've noticed pain and not just pain in general? Does the amount of pain you feel have anything to do with this?"
He replied, "No. It doesn't have anything to do with this."
Then I asked, "Okay. Then what does?"
