We got a call from the news saying that my dad is going to be interviewed. My dad works at an airport so he might have been there during the shooting and they wanted to interview him. They want him to talk about his experiences at the airport and how it was after the shooting happened. My dad said he'll do it but he doesn't know when yet.

Well, I got the call back from the news yesterday morning saying that my dad won't be on the news anymore because they couldn't get in contact with him. So now we're just waiting for them to contact us again or something.

Oh boy! We were contacted by the news yesterday morning saying that they need to speak to my dad. Apparently he's going to be on the news at 10:00 am tomorrow (that's US Central time) and it'll be on one of our local news channels.

The news channel is called WQAD. They're a local station but they do get their newscasts on YouTube which is what my mom will probably record it on. If you want to watch it, search up "WQAD News8" on YouTube and then look for the newscast from 5/23/17 which was yesterday.

Well, I did watch the newscast on YouTube and I don't think they actually showed any of my dad on camera. The interview was very short and didn't really show anything except his voice. Also, I'm not sure if anyone else noticed it but my dad seemed to have an accent when he was talking to them. He usually doesn't have an accent though.

Well, the newscast isn't online anymore but there's another thing that happened today. My dad got a call from another news channel saying that they wanted him to be interviewed for one of their newscasts tomorrow morning. So yeah, now my dad has two interviews in one day and I just can't wait to see how this goes.
