like i mean there are so many languages and programming techniques, how do you start learning one that will be the most helpful for other future languages?

I know the basics in Python but I think JavaScript and Java will be easier to learn because they have more support.

The answer is always: "C++"

Start out on python as it's easy to use and has great community support and documentation, once you've got your head around basic coding principles move onto another language like javascript or c++ (if you're willing to put up with some pain when learning) "oh god we all want to give you praise and worship"

Try doing stuff with Lua first and then try building your own scripting language if you want. Lua's syntax is really nice and the standard library is relatively large.

C/C++, since they're both low level and you'll be able to understand a lot better what happens inside any machine. Also, the most important thing when making code is readability, not whether the code works perfectly.

There are multiple ways to become a good programmer. But personally, I would recommend teaching yourself how to program on an educational site such as Codeacademy.com This website teaches you programming skills using beginner-friendly languages such as HTML/CSS/JavaScript, Ruby and Python among others. Once you get the hang of those three languages, feel free to explore other popular ones such as PHP, Java, Go etc. | You know what makes me go humpty dumpty? | R$12,290

I think Java is probably one of the best for beginners. If you have no idea about coding, just learn Java.
