I mean, in the world. It's not like we can just stop it. The people who are working towards that goal aren't doing it very well, and when they do come close to success, it's only because another country is just close as well. It's gonna be scary.

@Jason Well, what if we were never born? In fact, what if we weren't even created? Then the Earth wouldn't be here either... right? Wouldn't you agree that if something doesn't exist, it shouldn't be worried about, but rather looked forward to? Even a great event that ends in complete destruction would still be an event worth celebrating, even though it was bad. It wouldn't be a bad event, because it wouldn't exist. Wouldn't you agree?

The Earth would continue rotating the sun, the same way it has been for millions of years. ~Screw this, I'm going home!~

@Jason Yes, the Earth would continue rotating around the Sun, as it always has. But there wouldn't be any people on the Earth, or any life, because there would be no life to reproduce, and without that process, there would be no humans. So the Earth would just sit there, like it did before we were ever created.

The Earth wasn't created. You're just stupid. The Earth has been here for billions of years, I don't see why it can't live forever. ~Screw this, I'm going home!~

@Jason It can't live forever because the Sun itself won't last that long. It will eventually expand to a Red Giant stage and then the Earth's orbit will grow to be too far away for life to survive. And even if it didn't get destroyed by the expanding Sun, eventually the Sun will run out of Hydrogen fuel, and so the Sun will end up being a tiny, dying White Dwarf. Once that happens, even though I wouldn't be around (since I wouldn't exist), I'm not saying I wouldn't have cared. It'd still be sad.

Well, for starters, everyone dies. Secondly, the world would become another planet. Thirdly, humanity would die out.

@Skanea Yup, all of those things. I'm also gonna assume that the United States would fall apart, since there are so many different groups in the country that have their own agendas.

@Bouncy Nope, sorry to say, but no, we wouldn't be "extinct". We'd still be here, just in a very different form. The life that would remain on this Earth is going to be very similar to how it is now, except that the only way of survival will be to go into shelters underground for hundreds, if not thousands of years. There won't be much human life left. Only a few million people, because all the others would've died off from the nuclear fallout, or by not having the courage to go into the shelters, or having nothing to do with the nuclear armament. There might also be some other life forms, like insects and animals, but they wouldn't have nearly as big of an impact as humans did, because they are small and weak compared to us.
