What did you expect, a nice guy? No, people who hate themselves are usually not very social, and people don't like people who are antisocial. They think they're weird and/or disturbed.

There's no real advice, since he is just antisocial and will probably stay that way unless something drastic happens in his life that changes his attitude towards himself or others.

So what would the drastic thing have to be? Because it wouldn't take a lot to change the attitude of someone like him...but maybe it would.

Anything drastic, as long as it's positive and good things happen to him. That'd make him happy, right? Then he wouldn't care if he was antisocial.
