For my grade 3 year I will be able to choose my next schools for the last two years of elementary (6th and 7th) but then it will be all up to the school board if they will allow me into the schools I want.
So, this year I was looking at 2 high schools that are very close by. One of them has a higher ranking than my current middle school.
I chose to go there because it seemed like fun to get a high school experience early on. But then we found out that the high school will be closing down and that we are forced to go somewhere else if we don't want to stay in the small town.
I have no idea where else I can go.

Yeah... I don't know. It seems so hard to get accepted into other schools though. My parents were talking about moving to a different state but they wouldn't let us do that since we're only in the 4th grade.

I don't understand why I have to try my hardest in class. If I'm not going to high school and I am only in elementary school, then why does it matter?
