they just go with the flow
like they have their opinion and then they hear everybody around them say otherwise and they believe it instead
so for instance, if you see a kid who likes a song but they see everyone else hate on it, they'll also start hating on it (unless they're really strong people)
i've seen this happen a few times, and it really pisses me off tbh
