The only way the world can end is if something happens to either the sun or the earth. This is because without either one there would be no light and therefore life on the planet would not be able to sustain itself. Since the earth's surface temperature is about 15C (59F) the world would cease to exist after some period of time as everything would freeze over.
It is unlikely that anything will happen to the sun so that leaves the possibility of something happening to the earth. The only way for this to happen is through asteroid impact or collision with another celestial body.
Since the moon is too close and too small it is unlikely that anything will hit us so we can rule out any collisions. That leaves asteroids as the only possible candidate for this sort of destruction. However since they are much smaller than the moon it is extremely unlikely that an asteroid large enough to destroy humanity would ever hit earth.
So the only possible way for the world to end is through asteroid collision which is highly improbable.

First I'd go outside with my family and enjoy every second that I had left. Then after that I'd probably try to make a spaceship that would travel to another planet.

The only places I know for certain would be Venus and Mars (only if you can get past the atmosphere). Both of those would be extremely difficult.
