it's about a 17-year old kid named Ben.
He has a crush on this girl named Lilliana.
Lilliana is a cute girl with a very sweet smile. She wears a white sweater, and jeans that match it. Ben always thought she was the prettiest girl in the school.
But one day, his friends tell him not to get into her. They say she is mean and rude, but Ben doesn't care.
His crush on her grows more as he gets to know her.
Then, a few days later, he sees her talking with one of his friends. He immediately goes over and joins in the conversation.
One of his friends, "Mike", said "You see Ben, we were telling you this because if you don't back off, she'll start spreading rumors about you."
Ben thinks for a second and then says "Well, I'm not afraid of rumors." His friends look at each other, and one of them shrugs his shoulders.
The next day, Ben sees Lilliana with two of her friends walking towards the cafeteria. He walks up behind them and taps her on the shoulder. The girls turn around, startled by him.
"Hello there", Ben says nervously, "I'm Ben." He extends his hand out, waiting to shake hers. Lilliana, still startled, shakes his hand but doesn't say anything.
"Is everything okay?", asks Ben
Lilliana looks down and replies "Yeah...yeah it is.", turning to leave with her friends.
A few minutes later, Ben sees Lilliana sitting at a table by herself eating. He walks up to her and sits across from her.
"You wanna eat lunch with me?", he asks. She looks up and says "Sure!" They continue eating their lunch together in silence until Ben breaks the ice and starts talking to her.
Lilliana laughs at some of his jokes and soon they are chatting away.
It was a fun day, and soon Ben forgot what Mike had said earlier that day.
And that's how my story starts!
