I'm sure you've seen the movies and heard people talk about it but how do we know for sure?
Well, there are 3 main factors that scientists have concluded on.
The first factor is the sun. The sun is an incredibly large sphere of fire that has the power to destroy life as we know it.
We don't need to worry though because our planet is protected by a shield called the Magnetic Field which protects us from solar winds. However, this field is weakening and at some point it will completely shut down which will result in the end of the world. Scientists say this will happen around 2020.
The second factor is a giant planet called Nibiru which orbits the sun every 3600 years. This planet is believed to be extremely hot and has a tail made up of asteroids and debris. These asteroids travel across space at over 1 million miles per hour.
These asteroids will eventually crash into earth, and scientists believe we could be facing an asteroid impact as early as next year! Experts agree that Nibiru is responsible for extinction events on earth throughout history such as the dinosaur extinction.
The third factor is the Mayan Calendar. On December 21st, 2012 all of the calendars used by the Mayans will run out of days. Many people believe this means that time as we know it will come to an end and we'll be left with only darkness.

I'm not saying it will be on 2012 but it could happen any day.
The sun has the power to end life on earth.
Nibiru has the power to end life on earth.
Asteroids have the power to end life on earth.
This is why we should stop global warming before it's too late.
