That all of the Pokemon that I haven't caught (and a lot of ones that I did) have low numbers.
Like, I've only caught one in the 800s and 700s (Garchomp). All others are in the 400s to 600s.
And it's not just me. Other people who I play against online with also have caught very few high number Pokemon.
It's not as big a problem when I play Wi-Fi battles, but in friend battles it gets annoying. And it makes me feel like a loser. >_<

@Zoa:
The Pokemon numbers go up as you beat the Pokemon League, then go back down, then repeat. So basically, there are more common old-school types of Pokemon than newer ones.
