He's a very angry man.
I went to a park yesterday with my mom and two of my friends, I forgot their names. We had just met them that morning and they were on our way home when we decided to take a break and go to the park.
At one point, while I was in a swing, my dad came and asked if I wanted to go home. I said no because it was only like noon, I wasn't tired or hungry and I didn't want to leave. He then got really mad and started yelling at us for being rude and disrespectful. After I got off the swing he got right into my face and yelled "ARE YOU STUPID?!". I said "What?" and he walked away.
Then, a few minutes later he started yelling at us again about how we need to listen to him and respect him. He also said something about how he'll slap us if we don't do what he says. And he was all red in the face, which is really weird for him.
So yeah.

Don't get me wrong, but I'm going to have to agree with your dad there...

@zchr
I know, I know.
It's just that when he yells at us sometimes it gets annoying, especially because he swears at us sometimes too.

That's bad. If you don't want him to yell at you, you should try doing what he tells you. That way he doesn't have to yell or swear at you.

Yeah, I know. But it's just that sometimes he yells at us for no reason, even though we've been listening and respecting him.
Like one time my brother got mad at me for something so he called me a jerk and then my dad yelled at him for calling me that.

So do you think your parents would let you see a therapist?

@zchr
Maybe.
But I'm not sure if I'll really need it.
It's more like my parents have problems with each other. They are divorced and they hate each others guts.
I guess it could affect me in the future, but right now I'm fine.

Oh, okay. Well... just watch out. If you're ever in danger, just try to talk to a counselor or something, because there might be a possibility you can end up with problems later on.

@zchr
Yeah, I know.
My mom told me that.
I'm not worried about myself though, I'm worried about my brother and sister. My brother is really, REALLY sensitive to things, like his emotions and he gets scared easily. And my sister... she doesn't get angry very often, but when she does you better run.

Well, good luck! Just remember if you ever have trouble, to either talk to an adult (other than your dad) OR talk to a counselor!
