i'm 10 years old and have been on roblox for a while now. I've had my first account in 2012, but it was deleted and i can't find the username. Anyway, one day i got a message that said "hello! do you want to be friends?" so i replied and we started talking and she asked me what i wanted for my birthday which is november 25th, i told her i wanted a cool gift card and she said she would send me one. So i waited, and waited, but it didn't come and i asked her if she sent it to me. She told me no because i needed to send her something else. Then we kept arguing back and forth until she sent me a message saying that "if i don't get what i need then my family will be harmed." I didn't know what that meant so i tried to reason with her but she wouldn't listen. She kept sending messages to me saying that "i won't stop until i have what i need" and then i realized she wanted my account, and i tried to play dumb like "how can an account help your family?". She got mad at me and started threatening me. Then i started thinking, "what are you gonna do now?". I tried to call my parents but they weren't home so i called a friend of mine and told him what was happening. He listened to the whole thing and thought i was joking around. We kept talking about how i should get away from my computer and go outside but i still felt scared. Anyway, after a while of talking, he hung up on me and i finally decided to leave my computer. I went down stairs and saw my dad in his office, so i walked over to him and told him what happened. He was surprised that i actually went through that but he said he'd take care of it. So we both left to go find the scammer but there were no results and we eventually gave up. I asked him if i could keep playing roblox for a little while longer but he said no. I tried to argue with him but he refused to let me stay online. I also asked if i could have another birthday present and he said yes. Now i'm 10 years old and am very careful when people ask to be friends.
This is the first time i've been telling someone this story. I hope this can help people learn a lesson on not talking to strangers online.

I got scammed once by an 06er.
I was tricked into giving him all my limiteds and some tix.
