The song was made by a man named David Hasselhoff. One day, he had a bad day and thought about what song he should make. He said "I have to make a great song! A song that everyone can enjoy!" And so he sat down and started making music. After a long time of working on it, he finished making it. And it was good.
One day, there was a contest for the greatest song of all time. There were many people participating. But one person stood out the most.

One man saw the greatness of this song and he told David about it. This man's name was George Lucas. He listened to the song and then decided to make a movie for it. He called the movie "Guardians of the Galaxy." Everyone watched it and loved it. People then started listening to the song. And then there was a cover of the song. It was done by a band called The Ramones. They didn't know it was going to be a hit until they recorded it. Everyone loved it and still does to this day. It is now the greatest song in the world.
