I remember the first video game I ever played. It was a classic, a classic that changed my life and inspired me to pursue a career in video games. The first video game I ever played was a game called "Super Mario Bros." It was a 2D platformer made by Nintendo, released on September 13th, 1985 for the Famicom (Japanese version of the Nintendo Entertainment System). Super Mario Bros. is about the titular character Mario, who must rescue Princess Peach (then named Princess Toadstool) from Bowser's castle. As you progress through the game, you will meet many familiar enemies like Goomba, Koopa Troopa, and more. Mario can do many things in this game such as jump on enemies' heads, throw fireballs at them, and even use power-ups like the Super Mushroom and Fire Flower to get stronger and defeat Bowser. Super Mario Bros. is considered one of the greatest video games of all time because it created the entire genre known as the side-scrolling platformer. There have been over 30 different Mario games since then, including other popular titles like "Super Mario 64" and "Super Smash Bros." If you've never played any of these games before, I highly recommend playing them! They are still being produced today and they are just as fun as ever! What did you think of my story? Do you think that Super Mario Bros. changed your life like it did mine? Let me know in the comments below!
