Yeah, I always find that weird. I like the song but I'm not American and I live in Europe, I think there are some differences in culture with my country than yours, as we don't sing the anthem a lot (I think that's because football/soccer is popular here), but whenever I do hear it on TV or wherever I make sure to sing the right lyrics.
