Unless you're trying to be funny. It's like saying 'I can't think', because you can, but you just won't.

If you can't think, then you're thinking. So...you're not thinking, which means you can think. But, you aren't thinking, which means you are thinking.

No. That's the exact opposite.
'I don't want to do it' is a much more better excuse.
'I can't be bothered' is saying that you can't bother to do it, which is false, because you're thinking about it, but just won't do it.

No. Because you're either doing something, or not.
You can't both be bothered to do something and not be bothered to do it. If you're not bothering to do it, then you must be doing it, or at least considering it.

If you are too lazy to do something, then you cannot consider doing it. So, you wouldn't even be considering the possibility of doing it.

Lazy is just not wanting to do anything. You can be lazy and still be tired.

@Iam
Yes, I agree that it would be more better if people used 'I'm tired' or 'I don't feel like it'.
It's just that, when someone says that they're too lazy to do something, they can't think of a better excuse. But, they also can't admit that they're too lazy. So, they say they're too lazy.

You can be naturally lazy, but have no desire to be lazy, which makes you lazy. So, the only thing you would say is 'I'm bored', and then you'd go out and play with friends or something.
