Just go out and do something, maybe go out to a restaurant and see if there are jobs available. Or find a part time job.

im in college... sorta but not really.
its kinda like this:
i need to get a high school diploma. so i can take this math class in college. but im kinda not enrolled as a student. and now that im on the subject i guess i have to pay $300 to take it. which i don't have at all right now.

I suggest getting a job, if you can. That way, you can pay for things, but also get some money to live on until you find your career or passion.

im not a good fit for most minimum wage jobs. i'm pretty awkward around people and don't like talking to them.

Get a job at a library, they usually hire those with no experience.
You'll be helping others, and not talking much.

because i don't want to work at a library
my dad is trying to help me figure out what i should do but he has no idea what i like doing or what i would be good at so he just throws out all this stuff that i have no interest in doing

Try a few different jobs.
You don't need to stay at any of them, even if your dad likes the idea of you getting a job.
Just try different jobs, and see which ones you enjoy the most.
