"College is overrated and a waste of money"
I see this often online. This has got me confused, if you think college is a waste of time but then you claim to be educated in some way (And I assume you're referring to the liberal arts) then how come? If you don't believe it's important then why do it?
It seems like a lot of people are just in college for the fun or partying and don't want to bother with any actual studying or education. It's also usually the case that those who do have a degree say that everyone should be able to go to university because they would benefit from it.
The only reason I can think of for this is that you're under pressure to get a degree from parents and society, and when you become an adult and get a job you realise there was no need for it, or at least not for your field of work.

I'm also wondering what you'd do instead, as most jobs require a good level of education, whether you think so or not. For example, being a police officer, firefighter, doctor, lawyer, etc.
