if you're not too sure what i mean by 'simulation', it's like in the movie inception, where everything we think is real is actually just a dream.
but instead of being inside someone's brain, the universe itself was made.
the only difference is that there isn't some sort of higher being dreaming us up (unless god is a higher being) and we are actually in our own reality. but since everything is a simulation, we can never know if it is one or not
