i had mine removed when i was like 6. its a good thing to have them removed when you're younger. the scar will be easier to hide on a young child's body

my mom also had hers removed. she said it hurt for a while, but it wasnt as bad as labor pains. so that helps a little bit with the pain part. and i think she said that the incision was under her bellybutton

Yeah, the incision is under my belly button. Also, I had to eat my own appendix after I had it taken out :P
