My country, Canada, is a great country, but there are a few things that bother me:
1. How often I hear the words "sorry" and "no problem"
2. How often people say "eh?" or "aboot?"
3. The fact that our currency uses decimals, instead of cents
4. Our stupid border patrol system

It's not that hard to understand

Because I'm trying to figure out what the hell you're talking about.
How can you even have a discussion with someone without knowing what country they're from?

I just said in my post that I am Canadian, so it shouldn't matter who country I'm from

But you have to know what country you're from before you say something like this.
Do you think there is a single person who knows what "aboot" means?

1. I don't care if people don't understand the word "aboot"
2. I clearly stated my nationality in my first post
So how could I possibly make such a statement without knowing what nationality I am?
It doesn't make sense
3. I mean, I'm sure SOMEONE knows what aboot is, but not very many people

It's not that hard to understand what you're trying to say here.
"Are you blind?"
No, I'm not.
"I just gave you a link"
I didn't see a link.
If you were going to say "you can look up the meaning on Google", then why didn't you just say that?
It would've made more sense.
