there's a reason for the constitution saying you have to be a citizen and reside there, even if it makes some people upset or seems "unfair"

it would make it harder for people to manipulate the election though. which is what the founders intended.

It's not really manipulation if someone else does it though. The only time it really works is if one candidate has the majority of the votes in that district (which means they can't lose) and they get votes from other districts too.

i think most people are smart enough to know that it's not going to happen again. and if it does, i'd rather see a recount than anything. as long as the voter turnout is high enough, we should be fine

That's my problem with it. People say they can't trust the results because it's rigged but I don't think there is any proof that it was rigged.
I'm just waiting for it to be over.

the only proof would have to come from an election commission or a court
and since the courts were decided on by the supreme court, and trump is apparently considering firing the heads of those commissions, i doubt anything will happen.
but i still hope if it comes down to a recount, we get one.
