We're in a diner, and someone else's food comes out.
I ask her to pass me some sugar.
She says she's going to get some.
So she walks up to the counter, takes the sugar bowl down, and proceeds to pick out one sugar cube from it, then hands me that sugar cube.
I said no way, I'm not eating the only sugar cube in the place.
My mom shrugged her shoulders and said, "Well, what do you expect?"
