the 5th says you cannot be charged twice for the same crime
the 7th says you cant be convicted without a jury
the 9th says the government has no right to tell us how to live
the 10th says powers not granted to the federal govt belong to the states
the 11th says if a state is sued by someone outside the state the case must be settled there
the 13th says ex-slaves are free people
the 14th says everyone born in the u.s. is a citizen
the 15th says every american has the right to vote
the 16th says congress can tax income
the 17th says you cant be elected president more than twice
