same here, i work at a walmart in canada so its similar.
I scan items in and put them in bags then put them in the bagging area. Then i check out people who have everything they need.

it is actually real but if you make any mistakes with the scanner you can just unplug the gun and pretend its broken, unless your supervisor is looking then you are in trouble lol.

im kinda interested in that job myself, but it seems like its not easy to get unless you have experience working with computers and stuff.
