What is your school like?
What do you have for lunch?
How long does your recess last?
I go to St. Paul Catholic School (K-8) and I have a great time here. We have about 300 students in total, with the whole school being just one big room that's split up into classrooms. My recess usually lasts from around 10:45am to 11:00am. Lunch time is usually from 12:00pm to 1:00pm, and it takes us about an hour to eat lunch (including cleanup). As far as lunch goes, I usually get a PB&J (sometimes peanut butter), a chicken tenders, or even a cheeseburger from the cafeteria (the food is pretty good actually). When I'm not eating cafeteria food, I get something else from home. And sometimes if we have a birthday party going on then I get something out of that. We usually have two parties every year; one for my birthday in November and one for the student council Christmas party in December.
So, what about you guys? What do you do during recess, and how long does it last?

And I forgot to mention, our recess is outside of course because we're in Southern California where it doesn't get very cold, but some days we play inside instead when it rains or when it gets too hot. The rainy days are always fun for me, especially when we get to play in the gymnasium.

Okay, sorry if this thread seems like an "Ask Me Anything" post but I was just wondering what your school day looks like. You can either reply by telling me what you do in school or you can ignore this post completely. I don't mind either way.

i'm not sure what grade i am (i think it's 6th) and i have no idea how to count back and find out
my lunch usually consists of a grilled chicken salad with ranch dressing or something like that, plus some fries. sometimes i'll eat the fries first and then the salad, depending on my mood. i have a tiny bit of recess, like half an hour or less. i hate it
i don't know the name of the school i go to right now but i can give you its address (it's in los angeles, california)

That sounds delicious. I like to eat salads because they're healthy and usually pretty good. Do you guys have a soda machine where you can get drinks? Because we do, and I always get a Coke Zero (I'm not allowed to drink Coke Classic, Sprite, or anything else except for water or milk). You're lucky because we only have one fifteen minute recess a day, which is the second recess period of the day (from 10:00am to 10:15am). Our first recess is from 8:30am to 8:45am, so that one only lasts fifteen minutes.

Yes, it is. I like to play basketball during recess because I'm really good at it and I just love the game. Basketball is my favorite sport ever.

I usually play for about fifteen minutes or less, because I also like to do things other than just play basketball during recess (like hang out with friends, play dodgeball, play football, etc.). You guys have a good day, too!
