I am a Police officer, so I will just walk right in and not knock or anything.

I am going to call 911 on my phone and ask why they are there. If they won't explain or refuse to answer then I'll just go somewhere else where I can use my computer

@Jason
If you were getting arrested, they would say 'You have the right to remain silent, if you do not want to incriminate yourself.' If they refuse to answer, they are just making it harder for themselves.

if i'm not doing anything illegal
i'd probably invite them inside to show them how safe and trustworthy i am
i'd tell them that i live alone and give them a tour of my house
if i was doing something illegal
i'd probably just run away as fast as possible

I wouldn't ask them to explain because they don't have to explain why they are there. They can come in whenever they want for no reason or a good reason.
