So you might all be familiar with the idea of how bacteria can attack your stomachs lining, causing you to get "The Runs" and other such problems.
Well my theory is that the bacteria that make up what we like to call "Diseases" are actually just regular bacteria that are simply mutated through some sort of process (This could be radiation or just genetics). In other words, our bodies will eventually begin to mutate into these strange beings.
But enough of all that, we don't really need to know the full story, because the important part here is that there is an extremely small chance that we could become the next bacterial supermen. We aren't completely sure on this one yet (As I said in the title), but it is a real possibility.
I'm going to start by making a few predictions.
1. At first, mutations would come in very slowly, and most of these mutations would be harmless. The reason for this is that even though we have a very small genetic difference from other animals, we are far more genetically complex than most things that exist on Earth. If a random mutation occurred that was harmful, the mutation would probably not have any effect (Unless the animal died immediately) and our chances of surviving would increase exponentially.
2. Bacteria would probably be mutated faster than most other organisms, as they breed very quickly and their bodies are also much simpler. This could make them evolve faster and allow them to reach superhuman levels of evolution very quickly.
3. There is a very small chance that bacteria could mutate into a human form. If we did somehow turn into bacteria, we would probably have much greater strength and agility than normal humans, along with a few other features.
4. This theory doesn't necessarily mean that bacteria are directly related to us, but it seems pretty clear that the two are closely related.

My theory can also explain why viruses were made in the first place, but I don't want to talk about that right now.
