I'll be the only one who is a complete noob to this game, but I'd like to try it. I'll start my pokemon team with 3 random starters and we can go from there.

So, I named my starter "TheEvilMattz5974" as I always do. My second Pokemon is an Ivysaur called "Ivysaur" and my third Pokemon is a Wartortle named "Wartortle". Is that good enough?

I have no idea what that is, but here's my pokemon team. Bulbasaur (level 5), Ivysaur (level 5) and Wartortle (level 5). And since you said "The Pokemon in your party must be strong enough to beat a Level 5 Grunt" I'll just level up my pokemon.

I got my first victory! Now I'm level 6 for all of them and I captured a Pidgey. Now it's time to get to Viridian City!

I can't do anything without Pidgeotto... He just won't evolve. I caught two more Pidgey's. One I called Pidgeotto (which was the name of my original Pidgey that wouldn't evolve) and one I named Pidgeot.

I just made it to Vermilion City and Pidgeotto evolved into Pidgeot! He is now my new starter. Now I've leveled up Bulbasaur and Ivysaur and now they're both level 7.

I went to Lavender Town but all I did was get the Ghost type badge! Now I'm going back to Viridian Forest... Where do I go from there?
