i bought it for $1k, i dont know the exact value but its about 6 years old. my friend let me drive it and it wasnt bad. it has an automatic transmission, which is good because i couldnt learn how to drive stick lol.

if you can find a cheap one then id go for it. just make sure it doesnt need to much work, unless you're handy with cars.
