I mean, come on. What's so offensive about the word 'off'? And 'topic'? It's just a subject that we're not talking about, that's all. The whole world revolves around topics.

Because OT isn't meant to be a place where people can talk about anything.
It was made to be a place where people can talk about things off topic, but then people started going off topic and it turned into a place where people can talk about anything

But forums are meant to be for people who want to talk about specific topics. For example if you wanted to talk about the game Minecraft you wouldn't do it in ROBLOX talk because that has nothing to do with Minecraft. You would go on the Minecraft forums and talk about it there.
