I don't know either, but I've heard it many times. :|

An OTer is an individual who frequents the OT sub-forum of RT.

OTer means that you like to troll people and/or post stupid threads in OT.

So, what's the difference between being an OTer or just posting on the forum? Or are they one in the same thing? And if so, why do we have to refer to ourselves as that?

Being an OTer is being an idiot and a troll.

@IAm
There's no difference.
It's just how we refer to each other.
We don't have to refer to ourselves as such, but it seems easier to call someone by their sub-forum.

I'm still not sure. It just sounds wrong to me for some reason. I mean, "I am an RTer" would be weird too, even though it makes perfect sense. It sounds wrong.

Well, you've been here long enough to understand what an OTer is.

Not really, because it's like saying "I am a person". It's the same thing if you think about it.
