If it were the middle of nowhere, there wouldn't be any wood or trees.
It'd just be flat land. I guess it's still somewhere though. Huh.

The only thing that comes to mind is:
1) Find a cave
2) Hope that I'll find food and water eventually
3) Crawl out of the woods
4) Find another person who's lost too
5) ????
6) PROFIT!
