visit japan again
possibly go to japan for a year or two for a university program
and maybe go back to asia
a lot of stuff

you realize you can't just learn a language by looking up information on the internet
you actually have to study it in person for many hours a week
it takes around 2-3 hours of intensive study a day for about 8 months to properly learn a new language

I guess it depends what the goal is. If it is to learn the language then I guess I should just focus on one language but if I want to get into a Japanese school which I do that's going to be tough because they want 4 years of experience so I will need to be fluent in both languages.

That's why I am trying to learn both languages, but it would depend on the goal. If you want to live there you would want to be fluent in both.
