So I am looking for an image of a specific character in a specific show. I find it, and its a good quality picture that isn't blurry. It has a black background and nothing else. So I take that into Paint.net. Then I go to the eraser tool, set it to erasing with transparency, and I erase the entire character. Then I copy it to notepad as a bitmap file so that I can do what I want to do.
Then I realize that this image actually was blurry all along, and the fact that my screen is more crisp than the image itself made me think it wasn't. The only thing visible on the image is the character's head. And it still has a background color. So now I have to start over again.

I mean, you don't necessarily need to do what I did if you are using the same image I am, but here it is anyway:

It seems that they forgot to remove the background color.
