this is funny to me
i thought it was gonna be some ponification of a normal game
but instead its just a copy of another game and that actually makes it better than i thought it would be

if i had to guess, this is what i think happened:
somepony came up with the idea for mlp: pony is a horse
they then went on to make a game out of it
the creator of the game saw the original game (probably around the same time) and decided to rename his/her game to mlp: pony is a horse so people could find it in the mlp games section
they then made their own version of the game to fit the new name (or maybe they just renamed the old game)
anyway, if this is true then i'd say its pretty funny

I think the creator of the game wanted to get attention, so he/she thought of making a pony game. Then he/she thought of doing it with MLP, but was too lazy to create a new place, so he/she just changed the title.

this is like if someone made an exact clone of minecraft that also happens to be called minecraft

it's more like if someone made a minecraft clone, then copied Minecraft into that place, and renamed the original game as "Minecraft"

yeah but minecraft is a bit different here
there are many many people who have tried to make their own version of minecraft, some have even come close to being successful, but none of them have actually been able to replace minecraft
i don't know what to say about this one though except that i agree with you and this is very funny
