So it was today, and I was in math class. My teacher got out her glasses to make an announcement.
She said "It's almost the end of the year, so if you need new glasses or contact lenses, now is the time to get them!"
Then she told us to raise our hands if we needed glasses.
I raised my hand.
And then one of my friends raised his hand.
And he was like 'How many pairs do you have?'
And I said 'Two.'
And he goes 'But you always wear those stupid black ones!'
And I was like 'Yes, because they're the only ones that can go with any outfit.'
And then my teacher grabbed all the pairs of glasses and went around giving them out to people.
One girl asked for more than one pair, saying that she wore contacts but wanted glasses also.
My teacher gave her a pair.
The girl looked at the glasses and started crying.
I'm like 'What the hell? Why are you crying about glasses? That makes no sense!'
The teacher says 'This girl can't see at all without her glasses'
And then she gave me my glasses.
I looked at them and I was like 'Wow, they really suck. These are so ugly!'
And my teacher said 'They're not ugly! They look just like your regular glasses, except they're stronger.'
I was like 'You mean they're actually pretty cool?'
And she's like 'Yeah. They're a lot stronger than your old glasses.'
Then this other boy got his glasses, and he was like "These are horrible! My glasses are better!"
And then he threw his new glasses on the floor and stomped on them.
And then he ran out of the room.

But the glasses aren't bad... I'm just used to mine.

Lol. Yeah, I have 20/20 vision too.
The only reason I wear glasses is because I like them on me.

No. I was actually a little sad that my regular glasses were gone forever. They were awesome, and the new ones are really ugly.
I just need to get used to these though, so it's not such a big deal.
And thanks for giving me more attention than usual. :)
