I'll give you an honest opinion. Mac computers are overpriced and not worth it at all. Windows computers are better and cheaper.
Also, if your computer has more than 2 gb of ram, don't bother buying more. It's just a waste of money.

my computer has 4 gigs of ram
and the processor is an Intel Pentium G2020 @ 3.1 GHz
is that bad? or am i fine with that

I'm not really sure about the processor part but I think it's fine. However, you can upgrade your graphics card which will make it run faster.
