The only reason I don't play Minecraft anymore is because my friends play on a very slow computer.
I've been playing ROBLOX more, even though it's boring.

An AMD A8-5600K (quad core) with 4 gigs of ram and a graphics card.
And they're running two mods.
One is the new lighting engine (which I think was released recently), and the other is the one I can't remember.

Well, my friend was showing me around his world.
He showed me how to make a portal to the nether.
We explored the nether for about half an hour, and we only got one full chunk before we decided to leave.
I guess that's the problem with having a crappy computer.

That CPU is not bad.
It's not the best, but it's not bad either.
I've been using this computer since early 2013, so I don't really plan on upgrading anytime soon.

I think it's a good CPU.
It has four cores with four threads.
And its single-threaded performance isn't too bad, either.
If I want to play games like Skyrim (which I never do), then I just upgrade my graphics card.

You can use an AMD FX-7500 if you want something cheap.
It's only $60.
But I don't think the extra two cores and two threads would be worth it.

you're gonna be lucky if you get 2.5 ghz single core on that
and the $60 you'll pay for it will be used up by its 30watt TDP
and you're gonna be lucky if it gets you past 3.5ghz

it's $35 and gives you a great value
