I'm not really into football, but at my school they have a "football rally" every Friday. I'm pretty sure it's not for football, because it starts early in the morning, and lasts until noon.
I've never been to one before, but I hear that there are cheerleaders and band performances. There will probably be some skits also, which I hate. Skits are so cringe worthy.
There's going to be some food, as usual at these events. I know because they sent a survey out and said that they would make nachos and hot dogs.
I don't even get why we have a football rally every single week. It makes no sense to me.

My school has football rallies too, but we don't do them every friday... I think it was once every month or something like that...

The school is also hosting a pep rally before our football game on Friday. They made another survey saying that there would be hot dogs again. Why is that the only food they offer??
