I just joined this one server where everyone had their own voice. There was this guy that sounded like he had a horrible cold or something and was coughing all the time, which made him sound really old, so he kept on saying "I'm gonna go to my room and play with my dolls". This other guy said that he is 20 years old and then got upset when someone called him a "kid".

I can see how it would be bad for some people because they take the game too seriously, but I don't think there's anything wrong with enjoying games like that.
